Life Accident Insurance protects you and your family from any accidents.
What is life accident insurance?
Life Accident Insurance protects you and, possibly your family, against everyday accidents. It covers you in situations not covered by the guarantees of your auto and home insurance contracts.
Often, in a domestic accident, you injure yourself on your own. It therefore impossible to "turn" against someone to be compensated for the damage suffered.
If you take out Accident of Life Insurance, the insurer will compensate you even if the person responsible for the accident is not identified or if you are held responsible.
Unlike auto or home insurance, taking out an Accident of Life policy is not mandatory but is recommended if you want to protect yourself and your family in the event of a daily household accident. You will be covered, regardless of partial or total disability or the level of disability generated.
If this Accident of Life Insurance is a full contract, it is sometimes included as an option in home insurance.
Why take out Accident of Life Insurance?
Falling down your stairs may seem unimportant to you, but this fall can have a major financial impact (loss of motor skills, broken arm, temporary interruption of work, hospitalization, Ipp, partial or permanent incapacity, etc.).
If you take out an Accident of Life policy, you are in the event of a domestic accident.
For policyholders, this compensation aims to repair, or at least try to mitigate the physical damage but above all the consequences on personal, professional, material, or family life.

Last exclusion criterion: age.
Most insurers set a subscription age limit.
How am I protected?
In order to protect yourself, you must be compensated as quickly as possible by your insurer.
Once the amount of compensation has been validated, your insurer must pay the amount of compensation no later than 1 month after receiving your agreement.
A threshold that cannot be exceeded is set for Accident of Life insurance. The law provides that the maximum amount of compensation must be less than one million euros.
Compensation amounts are determined on the basis of the set disability rates. The higher the percentage, the more serious the accident. Compensation thresholds then make it possible to set the amount of compensation paid.
